European Short Festival: Thursday January 31st at 7pm – Toronto
The FEEDBACK Monthly Film Festival is back for 2019.. Our home is The Carlton Cinemas, located in the heart of downtown Toronto at 20 Carlton Street. The event runs from 7pm to 9:10pm.
Continuing to showcase the best of short films from around the world, while maintaining our audience feedback format moderated by Kierston Drier. Showcasing a festival three times a month in Toronto in 2018!
Tickets for 2018 are PAY WHAT YOU LIKE.
If you like to obtain seats in advance and pick them up on the day of the event (come for FREE, or make a donation), please email us at tickets@wildsound.ca
And we’ll reserve seats for you.
You can always make a tiny donation to the festival to guarantee your seats on the next and skip the lines:
You can pick up the tickets on the day of the event at the cinema. Tickets are first come, first serve. This festival has sold out 76 out of its last 78 events!
You will be able to buy alcohol (beer, wine, liquor), popcorn, candy, and refreshments before the show.

FIRST ACT PROGRAM
TEA & COFFEE, 9min., UK, Drama/Family

Tea & Coffee explores how a young British Indian woman struggles to come to terms with the deteriorating health of her strict Hindu father, and the difficult choices she has to make along the way.

GAMES WE PLAY, 9min., Denmark, Drama
Directed by Jakob Hardeberg Svensen
We follow Johan, an 11-years old boy through a sunny day with his two friends, Felix and Clara. The three kids find a dead bird on the street. Johan, our main character, has the idea for a funeral. They go to a forest near by to search for other dead animals and find a dead mouse.

At the end of a lunch in a big restaurant, a father talks to his son about education but this son does not agree with his father.

Socks, a Czech dark comedy, follows the regrettable Jiri through an eventful and surreal day, exploring his failing marriage and the fact that all of his socks have mysteriously vanished.

THE SON OF A MATADOR, 11min., Belgium, Drama/Family
Directed by Francisco Palomar Custance
Rodrigo, 10 years old, son of Spanish immigrants, endowed with an artist’s soul, lacks landmarks. His only certainty is to be the son of a great matador.
